Congressional CRT Technology Product Expo
2026 Congressional Complex Rehab Technology Product Expo 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM Cannon House Office Building
We are pleased to announce the 2026 Congressional CRT Product Expo and Leadership Summit, taking place on Capitol Hill on May 13. This event, hosted jointly by NCART, iNRRTS, and US Rehab, will bring together leaders from across the Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) community to showcase CRT products and engage directly with Members of Congress and their staff. By creating an immersive, hands-on experience, the Expo is designed to strengthen understanding of CRT and advance meaningful policy conversations that protect access for individuals with complex mobility needs. Why Now?
We could ask members of Congress to read another position paper about Complex Rehab Technology…or we can invite them to experience it instead. What sets this event apart is the immersive experience it creates, offering Members of Congress and their staff the opportunity to interact with and better understand CRT equipment firsthand. By bringing this technology directly to Capitol Hill, we transform abstract policy discussions into tangible, undeniable human-centered understanding. This event represents more than a gathering—it is an opportunity to educate policymakers, amplify the voices of our community, and move critical conversations forward. We are truly excited about what we will accomplish together.
The Expo Will Help Lawmakers:
• Understand the difference between Complex
Rehab and Standard DME
• Learn the clinical reasoning behind individualized
seating and mobility
• Experience the complexity of uniquely prescribed and
configured technology
• Shape the real-world impact of their policy decisions
What is Our Message?
Behind every policy ask is a person whose life could change.
Right now, we’re advocating for:
✔️ Improved access to titanium and carbon fiber wheelchairs
✔️ Establishing Medicare coverage for power standing systems.
These aren’t abstract policies—they’re pathways to independence, health, and dignity.

Testimonials
Never attended a CRT Product Expo before? Hear what attendees from previous expos have said about these events:
“CRT is more than equipment, it’s the intersection of skilled professionals, individualized products, and a complex service delivery process that together support independence, health, and quality of life. When policymakers understand the people, the products, and the process behind CRT, they can make informed decisions that protect access and strengthen outcomes. That’s why showing up and sharing our expertise in Washington matters.”
“Engaging consistently with policymakers in Washington isn’t optional for the CRT industry—it’s a responsibility. Our collective voice helps shape policies that protect patient access, support innovation, and ensure providers can continue delivering life changing care.”
“Protecting access to essential Complex Rehab Technology for consumers requires all CRT stakeholders (providers, manufacturers, clinicians, consumer advocates, friends, and family) to work together as a coordinated team to educate legislators, regulators, and insurance companies. Bringing the technology and the advocates together on Capitol Hill is a perfect opportunity to implement this strategic approach.”
